PHIL JOHNSON

General Manager

Phil Johnson has been in the construction industry since 1991. While in college he spent his summer breaks working for TCM, moving from the field to foreman to estimator and finally becoming the sales and marketing manager. Today he provides Northwest Industrial Services’ project managers with construction management insight and client pursuit support.

“Both the Boy Scouts of America and my parents have given me a deep appreciation for the outdoors, My fond memories of hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, high mountain lakes in the Rockies, and skiing in the Fitzimmons Range Canada are what drive me to my next adventure.

Born in Indonesia before the Japanese occupation in March of 1942, my mother immigrated from the Netherlands when she was 14. She met my father at Tektronix in Beaverton, Oregon. I owe who I am, my values, my characteristics, all things that are good of which were from the guidance, love and structure they bequeathed me.

For me life has been about continuous development and education. I am currently enrolled in Cornelle University’s – Project Manager program and plan to absorb new processes and supplement my current skill set with new ideas and processes.”
